To speak of culture in Montegordo is to speak of the church of Nossa Senhora das Dores, a few century old temple that is this countries culture motto and a forms a big part in it's religous beliefs.

This church as well as many others, is still embedded under the sand. We must mention its streets, especially Avenue Infant D. Enrique, which offers wonderful trips along the Atlantic Ocean coastline.
